Hey Keith! Well I am glad you stayed to read it :) Didn't mean to trick you. Just finding a different way of getting blogging tips out there. I hope you enjoyed it.

Yes CommentLuv is a good one! I have had that installed from the beginning and I do think it can attract new visitors :)

Sorry Jim... I was just about to surf away from this article, thinking that it was about cookery! Spotted the list of plugins and decided to have a read.

I've just installed CommentLuv on my site... seems like an easy way to reward people for leaving a comment.
Another good thing about this plugin? It makes you come up with catchy post titles that people want to click.

Well I started off using the All In One SEO and it seemed fine. A little while later when I had done a post about plugins one of my blogger friends said he used the Platinum SEO pack so I went to take a look at it. He had said it had more features. So I thought why not. So I uninstalled the ALL in one SEO and installed the Platinum SEO Pack. Now did I notice a difference. Well not really. I do think the Platinum has more settings that you can set, but again once you set the settings thats pretty much it. Now if you are using the ALL in one SEO right now and you want to move to the platinum the Platinum does have a feature for migrating all the settings you have from the All in one SEO to the Platinum. So its easy to set up. So I would say I like the Platinum better I believe it has more features than that of the All in one.

Before you change over check out the Platinum SEO Plugin Website. It describes in more detail what the Platinum gives you and information about the All in one SEO. Platinum SEO Plugin Website

Thanks for dropping by I hope that helps :)

Hey Louise! I hope that you aren't too afraid of Wordpress. Really with all of these plugins they are a "Set it and Forget it" type of thing and really they are not that hard to install at all. Sure there are some inital settings that you might need to add, but sometimes you don't do a thing. Like the Google XML site map. Just install and you don't do anything. The TweetMeme one you can set the location of the button. Thats the twitter button that is in the corner of each post. I am sure you probably knew that. So these plugins add functionality to your blog allowing you to customize your blog the way you want to. Yes it seems scary at first but its not that bad. And really some of these are optional like the Twitter button. You don't need to add it. Once you install a plugin it adds a what I am going to call a menu so you can add or change settings. Like the SEO Pack once installed you just type in your blog title and description and a few other things. Ok I am probably scaring you with all of this. Believe me its not as scary as it may sound.

Seriously if you need some help I am not an expert, but I can help walk you through some of this stuff when you want to move over to Wordpress. I think you will be happy with it once you do :)

Frozen Plug-in stew thats a great idea. Store it for later on when you get hungry and for those cold days in January and February. Well the SEO pack is something to install to help optimize your Blog for search engines. Don't worry though its alot like that oven you see on TV mmmmmmmmm I think the saying is "Set it and Forget it". Seriously once you install the plugin there are a few settings but once they are set it pretty much runs on its own.

Always a pleasure to have a real cook come by :) Thanks Louise!
