Affiliate Links and Where To Get Them

I just wanted to share a few of my favorite places to get affiliate links.

1. Commission Junction: As a Leader in Affiliate Marketing Commission Junction has a wide range of companies that you can promote on your website or blog. From AutoAnything to Best Buy to Yahoo Affiliate Program they really have everything from A to Z.

2. LinkShare: Like Commission Junction Linkshare has a large selection of great companies to promote. 1-800 Flowers, Apple iTunes, FAO Schwarz, NFL, Jelly Belly…. just to name a few.

3. Amazon: I recently started using Amazon. Amazon is pretty amazing because after signing up for to be an Amazon Associate you have at your finger tips millions and millions of products to promote. They also have a nice section where you can choose Banners and you can even create your own widgets. Honestly, I have only tapped the surface of Amazon. There is so much more to learn with it and just so many products to promote.

Are there any more places to get Affiliate Links?

Sure there are many places to get affiliate links to promote products on your blog. Those are just my favorite places to get Affiliate Links. I am sure you know more. Oh wait, I did forget one. I can’t write a post about Affiliate Links with out mentioning Clickbank. I have used ClickBank in the past. I am currently not promoting anything from ClickBank at the moment. There is no reason for this I just feel like I have enough places to get affilate links between Commission Junction, Linkshare, and Amazon.

There are a few other items that I also promote on this blog. One is the Frugal WordPress Theme and the Thesis WordPress Theme. These are Premium WordPress Themes that do cost money, but I think both of them are really great WordPress Themes. I haven’t actually used either of these WordPress Themes myself, but I have really heard (well read) nothing but good reviews about these two themes. One of these days I am going to upgrade to a premium WordPress theme. I haven’t decided whether I want to go with Frugal or Thesis, but for now I am fine with my Free WordPress Theme that I found right here at WordPress. In case you are wondering what WordPress Theme I am using it is called PressPlay by Michael Dance.

Now there are many other places to get affiliate links all over the Internet and in this post I have only named a few. I want to let you know though that I will only promote products and services on this blog that I truly believe in. I believe you need to be able to stand behind the products you promote and the only way to do this is to promote products that you have either used yourself or that you truly believe in.

So check these places out. Signing up is easy and before you know it you will be on your way to making money with your blog.

  5. Jim,

Great list of sites I never tired link share. Will have to check that one out. CJ and Clickbank are two that I have had some success with and I started using amazon a little bit ago since it seem to be the most legit but low commissions.

Yeah CJ, Clickbank and Amazon are big. I actually just started with Amazon too. I don’t really do a lot of advertising. I only like to promote products that I believe in.

Thanks for taking the time to read a few posts Jared! I appreciate it and I hope that it helped

I’m a CJ and Amazon member, and I’ve also joined other affiliates to get hold of some programs not offered by CJ. This year I’ve been doing monthly updates on monies earned from affiliates, but I don’t think I will continue the process in 2010 as it’s all a bit tedious.

Reckon I will cross that bridge next year.

Yeah there were a few affiliates that I wanted to join that were not on CJ. I found that Linkshare has quite a few of the different ones I was looking for. Not that Sirius has anything to do with blogging, but I have Sirius and I think its a great service. I barely listen to the regular radio anymore.
