Well here it is the post with Words with Meaning. In my last post I talked about Words Without Meaning. In this one I am going to talk about Words with Meaning.

Here is an interesting thought. Well I thought it was interesting. What would we do without words in our life? Would we still have Harry Potter or One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish for that matter if we didn’t have words? Well I can tell you one thing it would be difficult to write this post without words and I am not a very good mime and I stink at charades. But the question is:

What makes a great author?

A great author is able to take words and arrange them in a particular order so that they have meaning. They are able to create a visual scene for their readers and bring them on an adventure in their mind. Again, just like a songwriter, it takes a special talent/gift to write a book and to captivate readers. To be able to arrange words in a particular order and create a vivid scene and make it come alive is definitely a gift.

Well this post didn’t have a lot of words with meaning, but it did have a few words with meaning at the beginning.  Below are a few links to some great posts with meaning created from some of my Great Blog Author Friends:

So what does this post Words with Meaning and Words without Meaning Have to do with Blogging?

The message here is to write meaningful posts on your blog using words to create something for your readers that they can understand, help them, and give them information. This will keep your readers reading and coming back for more. Don’t feel pressured though to make every post perfect. They all don’t have to be New York Times Best Sellers, mine certainly don’t make the cut, just do your Best to give your readers something to think about and you will be successful.

Thanks John! I just trying something a little different. I am glad you liked it. I am working on a song. Well sort of. Kind of a Holiday song that I will post soon. I am thinking I should wait until after Thanksgiving to post it. Unlike the rest of the stores around here that had Holiday stuff out just after Halloween.

Thank you for the backlink Jim, it’s highly appreciated.

Just thought about your post on Nickelback the other day when I started to read about the song/psalm “Amazing Grace”. This might be a bit off topic but that’s truly a inspirational song.

After I saw the Nickleback video for the first time I searched the internet for the lyrics. The lyrics are powerful. Now that you talk about Amazing Grace it reminds me of my grandmother who used to play the piano and sing and play that song. It brings back childhood memories. I’ll have to search for the words to Amazing Grace. Thanks Stefan!
