How to Create a Successful Blog

So a couple of weekends ago while spending the afternoon with my 3 boys they asked me to make paper airplanes. When I was a kid I used to make them all the time, but I thought I would do a google search on paper airplanes to see what would come up. Well I came across this one called the Best Paper Airplane in the World. I thought well if its the best I’ll give it a try.
I have to say I made alot of paper airplanes when I was a kid, but I have never made one quite like this one. It had more folds in it than a Shar Pei. I have never quite folded and creased a piece of paper so many different ways. My kids were patiently waiting as I sweated over building this airplane. It took some time to build, but when I was done sure it didn’t look as perfect as the picture, but amazingly enough it flew and actually flew pretty well. Hey my kids enjoyed it. I think they enjoyed watching me build this plane.
So How does this relate to Creating a Succussful Blog?
Well building a successful blog is a lot like building this paper airplane. There are so many different things that fold into creating a great blog. There is picking the proper domain name, picking a great theme for your blog, writing quality content, adding the proper amount keywords to your content, picking and using the proper plugins, adding great links to your blog, adding advertising, creating the proper permalinks for your posts, adding meta tags, pages, and categories. And I probably just scratched the surface, but you get the picture. Then once you got all that you have to start driving traffic. There are so many things that fold into a great blog and all them have their own level of importance, but if you fold it all together properly it will fly.
Sure there will be times that the fold isn’t perfect. Remember it doesn’t have to be perfect. Heck that plane that I built for my kids was far from perfect, but it still flew. So remember it will take some time to build it and doesn’t have to be perfect to fly. Just keep folding great things into your blog and you will be successful and it will fly.

Yes Jim, I agree with you. I´m not worried about having a perfect blog, or having a lot of traffic. I only want to write as clearly as possible, and share with my readers the best quality content I can provide. With time and experience we will improve the design of the blog. Good and original content is the most important to achieve success.
