How to edit HTML CSS

I just wanted to post a quick link to a site that someone had pointed out to me on how to learn HTML and CSS. There are some great tutorials on this site. I have to admit I don’t know much about HTML or CSS at all, but I like this site. The neat thing about this site is that there are examples that you can play with. Such as there is a box with code in it on the left and a box on the right with what the code actually will show. The best thing is that you can play with the code on the left and see what it does on the right. It is pretty coool. I like it cause I can play around with the code safely without going into my editor and messing things up on my blog. Its a great way to learn.

This post reminds me of my web-design short course (1 month only), where I learned about HTML and CSS.

We don’t need to really master them, but we need to know how to use them quite well. We need to be Jack-of-All-Trades to success in blogging, not necessarily be an Ace.

Good luck on the HTML and CSS!

  3. Usually I don’t try to memorize html and css codes, but I use w3schools to find them out. I do the following procedure to find out a css code or an html code very easily.
    open google.com
search KEYWORD I want to know, if the page of w3school website is not coming on top position for some search, i just add w3schools after the keywords so that the page of w3schools.com will come up top on google search results.
The main feature that I really love about w3schools website is that we can test/try those html/css codes within w3schools easily.

    Hi Jim,

When I saw Learn HTML/CSS, I thought to myself: “Jim must be another HTML/CSS guru and I could learn some few more tricks.”

Then I saw “I have to admit I don’t know much about HTML or CSS at all, but I like this site.” I thought this was hilarious. I learnt something useful from it anyway, this is an example how to use the Menu to attract attention or curiousity.

Some HTML/CSS knowledge is very useful indeed.
