Warrior Forum

Warrior Forum
Just a quick note about the Warrior Form. There is a lot of information on there and a lot of great people giving a lot of advice. There is so much information on there that you can literally spend hours just reading and taking in information. That was me last night. After a while I started to feel overloaded with information and I started to feel lost asking myself questions like What is the best way to approach this online business? Internet marketing, PPC, Adsense. Can I really do this? Can I really create an online business? All the jargon and acronyms I think were getting to me. It was almost too much information all at once.

So just a word of advice
There is a lot of information out there. We all know that. We all have done Google searches and millions of pages come up on a subject. I think the trick is to stay focused. Focused on your area of interest. Focused on your plan. That way if you start to feel like you are getting off track, and your mind starts to wonder, you can pick up your plan and that will help you get back on track. I am not saying that if you start to veer in another direction that it’s a bad idea. Sometimes taking a right turn can be a good choice. It is probably a way to find new opportunities, but if your mind starts to wonder and go in another direction just make sure it fits in with your ultimate goal and if so make sure you update your plan. This will help you to accomplish your goals of being successful.

Now where did I put my plan…………

This is so true Jim! Thanks for pointing it out for us!

It’s definitely sooo easy to get information overload on places like the WF. We long for that information, but we need to cap it off sometime and focus on a particular course.

It’s a problem I’ve had in the past and didn’t lead me too far. Prioritizing the tasks to complete the ultimate goal is the way to success… but we all know that is easier than it sounds.

That time spent on planning will pay off tremendously one day!

    See you soon, Jim!

    Jim,
I have to avoid the Warrior Forum like the plague these days. Not because there’s nothing good in there but because there is way too much good info there. In the past I have gone in to the forum to get advice on something, 6 hours pass, and I realize I just wasted half a day reading a forum. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing place to learn. But you will never get anywhere in this business if you don’t just step away and take some action. Learn some techniques but don’t continue to read about them. Go for it and start taking some action on them.

Good post! I can tell you have definitely experienced the Warrior Forum in some of the same ways that I have.

  4. Jim sound advice, I found a lot of great advice in the warrior forum but it is so easy to get side tracked. Next year I working off a better plan and hoping that will drive more success.

Going to put on my PM hat and treat everything like a mini project and stick to the plan.
