Hot ‘N Spicy Buffalo Posts

Ingredients
1 Cup of Originality
1 Cup of Uniqueness
1 Cup of Frequency
1 Tablespoon of 5 Spice Blog Powder
Pinch of Keywords
3 Large Direct Traffic Eggs
½ Box BlogEngage Crackers
½ Box Digg Crackers
½ Box StumbleUpon Crackers
½ Box Del.icio.us Crackers
½ Box Technorati Crackers
½ Box of COOB Crackers (Comments On Other Blog Crackers)
2 Tablespoons Twitter Pepper
1 Large Baked Stuffed Post cut into finger sized pieces

Directions
Ok for this recipe we are going to make some Search Engine Traffic Powder, a Direct Traffic Wash, and some Referral Crumb Coating to coat our posts. First step though is to Preheat Internet Fryer to 4000 degrees. Yeah it’s hot. How else are you going to make Hot ‘N Spicy Buffalo Posts?

Search Engine Traffic Powder
1. In a bowl mix together originality, uniqueness, and frequency. While mixing sprinkle in a bit of that 5 Spice Blog Powder to spice it up and maybe a few keywords if you got them. Search Engines love to be fed frequently and with originality. The 5 Spice Blog Powder adds a bit of your own personal unique spice and a pinch of a few keywords adds a little bite for those Search Engines.

Direct Traffic Wash
2. Crack 3 Direct Traffic eggs in a bowl. Beat the Direct Traffic; gently now you don’t want to hurt them.

Referral Traffic Crumbs
3. In a large size zip lock bag, add Blogengage Crackers, Digg Crackers, StumbleUpon Crackers, Del. Ico.us Crackers, Technorati Crackers, COOB Crackers and any other referral crackers of interest. You can even add some Facebook Crackers to taste. Really any referral crackers will do. Zip the bag shut and place on a hard surface preferably a counter top.

Now for the fun part

4. Crush the crackers anyway you like. One of the things I enjoyed when I was a kid was crushing crackers with a wooden rolling pin. When my mother wanted some cracker crumbs I was her personal cracker crumb crusher. With a hand on each end of the rolling pin I would crush the crackers like a steam roller would flatten the pavement. I used to enjoy this when I was a kid. Ok I still do, but my wife doesn’t like it because the crumbs don’t hold a lot of cheese when you are trying to have cheese and crackers. Well anyways if you prefer, and you are having a bad day, you could use a wooden mallet. Take it easy though we want crumbs not dust. Of course you could use a food processor, but what’s the fun in that. Sitting there pushing a button. What better stress reliever then crushing your favorite Social Networks especially Facebook. Don’t get me wrong though I do love my Social Networks.

5. Once fully crushed into coarse crumbs open the zip lock bag and shake in a bit of Twitter Pepper. Then close the bag and shake to fully combine and mix all the ingredients together. Dump and spread the Referral Crumbs on a cookie sheet.

Now onto the Special Coating Process

6. Like an assembly line from left to right first lay out your finger sized posts, and then next to them place the bowl of Search Engine Traffic Powder followed by the Direct Traffic Wash and finally the cookie sheet of Referral Traffic Crumbs.

7. Pick up one 1 finger size Post and roll it in the Search Engine Traffic Powder until it is fully coated with originality, spice, and uniqueness. Pick it up and you may notice a few keywords stuck to it. This is a good thing.

8. Now dredge the Seasoned Post into the Direct Traffic wash. Then take the post and roll it across the Referral Traffic Crumbs fully coating the post with all the referral traffic you can get. You can even lay the Seasoned Post down and bury it with the crumbs. This works well too.

9. Now lay the Seasoned Coated posts on a plate beside the Internet Fryer and repeat process for all of the finger sized posts.

10. When all Posts are coated you are ready to fry. Pick up one Seasoned Coated Post and place it in the Internet Fryer. You may hear a little screaming when the Seasoned Post hits the Hot Internet Oil. Don’t worry that’s just your Traffic screaming for the post.

11. Fry the Seasoned Coated Posts until golden brown. Use tongs to turn pieces over and cook evenly.

12. When golden brown use tongs and take out the Hot ‘N Spicy Buffalo Posts and place them on some paper towel to cool.

You know I got to the end of creating this post and thought to myself “What is the message here?” I got so wrapped up with creating the recipe that I forgot why I was writing it. Well let me give it a shot. Here we go!

The Message behind the Recipe

So we are all out there creating posts and we place them on the Internet. Now what we all want is some traffic. How do we get traffic and readers to our blog? Well we add a bit of spice, passion, and originality to our posts. We may also sprinkle in a few keywords too. But in order to build some referral traffic we need to roll our posts into our favorite Socializing Networks and what works really well is to make COOB (Comments on other Blogs) This can really drive referral traffic to your blog.

Now lately I have been getting a lot of referral traffic from one of my blogger friends out there and his name is Sire. While I didn’t have a box of Wassupblog.com crackers to make crumbs and roll my post into he was gracious enough to mention me in a recent post. For me this was totally unexpected and I cannot thank him enough for his kind words. This not only generates a ton of traffic and new readers to my blog, but really gives me a lot of respect for him for his generosity.

So create a post, add some passion and originality dip it in some Direct traffic wash and roll it through some Socializing Networks and you will see you not only get traffic and readers to your blog, but it may just bring in some comments as well. I think comments are one of my favorite parts of the Blogging process. Oh and don’t forget to get out there and make some comments on other blogs for the best kind of referral traffic you can get.

Toasty S’more Post

Ingredients
1 Large Idea
1 oz Passion
1 Lafun Cracker

Directions
1. Lightly toast 1 Large Idea over an open flame until it just begins to melt. See picture to your right.

2. Take 1 Lafun Cracker and break it in half. Ok what’s a lafun cracker? It’s a cracker thats got fun on one side and laughter on the other. There is no better way to make a Passionate Idea come alive than to sandwich it in-between a little fun and laughter.

3. Place the cracker fun side up and top it with the lightly toasted Idea. Now add 1oz of Passion on top of that warm Idea. The warmth of the Idea will begin to melt the Passion into it. Now cap that off with a little laughter and you got yourself one hell of a Toasty S’more Post.

Toasty S’more Post Kits will soon be available in your local Grocery Stores. Each kit will include 10 Large Ideas, 10oz of Passion, and 1 Box of 10 Lafun Crackers. Some assembly required.

Hearty Old Fashion Plug-In Stew

Ingredients
3 Cups of Posts
1 Cup of the Powerful Blog Marinade
5 Spice Blog Powder
1 Large TweetMeme Retweet Button cut into medium size chunks
1 Cup of Sketch Bookmarks (Sketch Bookmarks not Stretch Marks)
1 Large Popularity Contest
1 Cup of Subscribe to Comments
1 Cup of CommentLuv
1 Large Google XML Sitemap
1 Fresh Platinum SEO Pack diced
2 Cups of Hearty Blog Stock
1 Cup of Akismet
1 Cup WP Super Cache
1 Whole Yet Another Related Posts Plug-in peeled and quartered
1 Clean Archive Reloaded thinly sliced
1 Large WordPress Database Backup

Directions
1. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet then add 3 Cups of Posts. Slowly brown the Posts over medium heat stirring occasionally. Add a Cup of the Powerful Blog Marinade from the Grilled 5 Spice Chicken Blog and a dash of that 5 Spice Blog Powder. We all know what that does.

2. Then stir in the medium size chunks of the Tweetme Retweet Button. Just shove those medium size TweetMe Buttons in a corner somewhere. It adds a little tweeting to the stew.

3. Add 1 Cup of the Sketch Bookmarks and 1 Large Popularity Contest just because everyone likes to socialize and be popular.

4. Then add 1 Cup of the Subscribe to Comments and a Cup of the CommentLuv. This CommentLuv gives a little love back to your commentators.

5. Cook Posts until tender to the touch then remove pan from heat and place off to the side. Can you smell the Passion and Luv in the air?

6. Now take the Hearty Blog stock out of the refrigerator. Remove the lid and skim off any Blog Fat. I have been wondering if the Blog Fat is good for something. Put this Blog Fat in a container and put it off to the side. We may want to use it sometime.

7. In a large Wordpress Stock Pot add 1 large Google XML Sitemap and 1 Fresh Platinum SEO Pack diced. This helps Google and other search engines search and seek out your blog.

8. Now slowly stir in 2 Cups of the Hearty Blog Stock, 1 Cup of Akismet, 1 Cup of WP Super Cache, 1 Yet Another Related Posts Plug-in Peeled and quartered. Then add 1 Clean Archive Reloaded thinly sliced. Oh and don’t forget to add the 1 Large Wordpress Database Backup this is an important one.

9. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

10. After simmering reduce heat and slowly stir in the tender bite size Posts that are covered with Passion and Spice. Make sure to add all the juices from the skillet as you want to get every last drop of that Spice that is in the skillet. Don’t be afraid to scrape the skillet if you have to.

11. Now bring the Plug-in Stew to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Feel free to add another dash of your own 5 Spice Blog Powder to taste. You can’t get enough of this stuff.

Serve Plug-in Stew with a slice of Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread. What’s it for? Well for dunking in the juices of course.

Sure it’s a basic Old Fashion Hearty Plug-in Stew, but it should work in most Wordpress Blogs. Just as a note there are thousands of different plug-ins out there. I am just naming a few that I use and that have helped me put my blog together. Sure there are more you could add and of course there are substitutes for every recipe. I have even changed some of mine over time.

Take the Platinum SEO pack for instance. When I first started my blog I installed the All in One SEO. Then I had heard about the Platinum SEO Pack and I thought I would give it a try so I installed it. Did I notice any difference between the All In One SEO and the Platinum SEO Pack? Well actually no, but I think its good idea to install one.

Now let’s talk about a few of these Plug-ins.

Now as far as the Akismet Plug-in it is being added to kill off any spam that sometimes like to creep in from time to time. It will happen so make sure you add this plug-in. It has killed over 1500 spam in my blog already. So when spam attacks Akismet is there to catch it. I also hear it works well at getting spam off of Ham bones.

Subscribe to comments is a good one as allows the person commenting on your blog to be able to get an email if a new comment is left. I actually added this recently as a suggestion by Sire. If you think about how many blogs you travel to each day and leave comments it’s really hard to keep track of where you have gone. This helps by emailing you that a new comment is left on a blog that you commented on and gives you chance to reply back. I think it’s a great way to develop conversations on comments instead of just 1 lonely comment.

The Yet another Related posts plug-in is a pretty cool one.
It actually looks at the posts you create and creates a list of related posts. This is a really cool way to drudge up older posts for people to look at and the best part about it is that it works all on its own.

Now the Wordpress Database Backup Plug-in is a great one especially if you do something like I did the other night. Well while I was cooking up another recipe, I like to try things out before I post them; I dipped my computer in egg then floured it up and dunked it into a fryer filled with oil. I was trying to make Deep Fried Blog. Well needless to say there was an awful smell then some guys in a big red truck came by to douse out the flames. Thank god I had the Wordpress Database Backup as my blog was saved. The computer well that’s a different story. You should have heard me talking to Dell Customer Service. “Excuse me Dell? Yeah I have a bit of a problem……… What do you mean it’s not covered under warranty?”

Now you will notice that I did put the links to the Wordpress.org Plug-in page for each plug-in, but you don’t need to install them from there. The easiest way to add one of these Plug-ins is to go to your Dashboard on your Wordpress blog and on the left hand side look for the Section called “Plug-ins”. Click on “Plug-ins” and Add New. In the Search Engine box type in any one of the Plug-ins above find it and click “Install”. Of course most of you probably know this already.

So these are just a few plug-ins out there and sure there are certainly more that you can install. Once installed and activated these plug-ins are will add functionality to your blog. Of course only you can add your own Spice and Passion to your Blog. There is no substitute plug-in for the Passion inside of you.

Hearty Blog Stock

Ingredients:
1 Chicken Blog Carcass
10 to 12 cups Passion
1 Whole Well Thought-out Idea
1 Blog Roll, sliced into a few External Links
1/2 Cup Widgets cut into chunks
2-4 Pages to your Liking (Contact, About, Archive)
Substitute: Salt and Pepper with 1/2 Cup of the 5 Spice Blog Powder.

Directions:
1. In a large Webhosting Pot, usually a BlueHost type, add the Chicken Blog Carcass and any remaining bones, feathers, and guts from the Grilled 5 Spice Chicken Blog that you had made. Basically add whatever is left of the Blog Carcass after the vultures have been picking at your posts for a while. Oh yeah and don’t forget the belly button lint. Yes I did say belly button lint. What could be more personal and give your stock that personal touch than adding your very own belly button lint. Just don’t tell anyone that you added it. Remember thats our secret.

2. Pour 10 to 12 Cups of Passion over the Blog Carcass to completely cover it.

3. Add the 1 Well Thought Out Idea, Sliced Blog Roll, Chunks of Widgets, and a few Pages.

4. Add ½ Cup or so of that 5 Spice Blog Powder. This stuff is good in everything.

5. Bring Passion to a rapid boil. Then reduce heat and simmer passionately for 5-10 minutes.

6. Once simmering passionately leave uncovered and let simmer for 3-6 months until you have a hearty passionate Blog Stock. It takes about that long to infuse passion into all components and create a Hearty Blog Stock. Every once and a while you may need to skim off any Blog Fat that has formed on the surface. We all know about Blog Fat.

7. Remove from heat and discard the Blog Carcass.

8. Strain the remaining Blog Stock to remove any large particles. We don’t want anybody choking on the Blog bones.

9. Place the stained Hearty Blog Stock in a container and refrigerate. Refrigerating overnight may allow a layer of Blog Fat to form. Don’t panic just skim the Blog Fat off the top.

10. Stick this Hearty Blog Stock back in the fridge and we will make a Hearty Plug-in Stew.

Now I just need to find the recipe. I know I have it around here somewhere. Now where did I put my cookbooks? I’ll be back.

Grilled 5 Spice Chicken Blog

Ingredients:
1 Whole 5lb Plucked Chicken Blog
3 Tablespoons of Focus
2 Tablespoons of Drive
2 Tablespoons of Determination
1 Tablespoon of Concentration
2 Teaspoons of Love
1 Cup of 5 Spice Blog Powder
1 Cup of Passion
1 Cup of Fun

Note: Leave out the Belly Button lint

Directions:

1. Take the whole 5lb Chicken Blog with bones, guts and all and place it on a counter or hard surface. Remember Plucked chicken Blog so you can leave out the feathers.

2. Cut and trim any excess fat from the Chicken Blog. Rinse under water and pat the Blog dry.

3. In a medium bowl whisk the Focus, Drive, Determination, Concentration, and little Love. Once this is completely blended slowly whisk in the 5 Spice Blog Powder, Passion, and of course the Fun. This creates a simple, but powerful marinade for the Blog.

Important: Take a small amount of this marinade and place it in a container and label it “Use in Case of Emergency”.

4. Gently add the Whole 5lb Chicken Blog into a Webhosting Pan. This size Blog will usually fit into a 12 -24 month Webhosting Pan. You can usually get this kind of pan at your local BlueHost store. Once in the pan, coat the Blog well with this powerful marinade. Turn the Blog several times to thoroughly and evenly coat the Blog with this marinade. Not only does this give the Blog Passion and Fun, but also Focus, Drive, Determination, Concentration and all of the Love that a Blog needs. Marinade the Blog for at least 12 -24 months in the Webhosting pan.

5. Preheat the Internet Grill. Place the Chicken Blog skin side up on the Internet turning out posts every once and a while. Make sure as you are grilling and turning out posts that you continually baste the Blog with the powerful marinade. This keeps the Passion and Fun alive while keeping you Focused and Driven. Oh and of course it keeps the Blog from getting dry. Nothing worse than a dry Blog. Continually baste the Blog with Passion and Love.

Serve your Blog “Hot” Straight off the Internet Grill.

So I bet you are wondering why, in the recipe, I said the whole Blog guts and all. Sire puts it well when he says “Blogging for Fame and Glory”. Sire certainly has guts, glory and a great blog. As they say “No Guts No Glory”. So leave in the guts and you will have glory.

Now let’s talk about the Fat. Everyone wants a lean and mean blog right? So take your time to trim the Fat off your Blog. What is Blog Fat you ask? Well, Blog Fat comes in many different forms. Sometimes it’s Plug-in Fat, Sometimes its Affiliate Link Fat, and Sometimes it’s Adsense Fat. Some is good fat and some is bad fat. (Sorry that sounded like Dr Seuss.) Sure some Fat is essential, heck even I have a little Fat on my Blog, just don’t add too much Fat or your blog will get bloated. Also remember to trim the Fat every once and a while because you know Fat it tends to creep up on you.

On to the 5 Spice Blog Powder. The 5 Spice Blog Powder is a unique powder that everyone has inside of them. This is the Spice that as Emeril Lagasse would say “Kicks it up a notch”. We all have it inside of us we just need to find it. Take a look around for it. It should be on the shelf sitting between the Drive and Passion. So find your unique 5 Spice Powder and Kick your Blog up a notch. Now where did I put mine? Honey, do you know where my 5 Spice Powder is? No not my Old Spice Powder, My 5 Spice Powder. (Little side note I don’t use Old Spice).

Now you probably noticed that the recipe calls not only for 1 Cup of 5 Spice Blog Powder, but also 1 Cup of Passion and 1 Cup of Fun to the marinade. Sure it seems like a lot, but I don’t think you can add too much Passion and/or Fun to your Blog. Not to mention, I figure, Passion and Fun go hand and hand. So have Fun and add as much as you want.

On to something a little more serious. In the recipe I told you to keep a small amount of this powerful marinade in a special container labeled “Use in Case of Emergency”. Now I am going to tell you why you did this. I know at times I have felt lost in my blog. I didn’t know what to write about. I didn’t know why I was really blogging. I mean why am I doing this anyways. At times I have felt like just giving up. I think everyone has those feelings at one time or another especially when you are a new blogger. So this is why we have this special container of marinade. During those times when you start to loose focus and drive take your container of marinade out open it up and breathe it in a bit. Now dip the tip of your index finger in it to get a touch of this powerful marinade on your finger tip. Close your eyes and place it on your tongue. Taste it? It’s the original Focus, Drive and Determination you had when you first started your blog. Now baste your Blog with a bit of this powerful marinade. This will help give your blog back its Passion, Spice, Fun and Love that it needs. So keep this container of powerful marinade in safe place and don’t loose it. It may just come in handy one day.

So go ahead try the recipe and create your own 5 Spice Blog. Remember it’s the 5 Spice Powder that gives your blog the extra kick that only you can add.

Nutritional Value of Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread

Well I knew after I gave you the Nutritional Value of a Baked Stuffed Post I knew I had to give you the Nutritional Value of the Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread. I apologize that it took me so long. This whole working full time thing to pay the bills really gets in the way of my blogging. Well anyways here it is.

You will notice some slight differences. For one thing you will notice you get more Brain Activity from the Image than you did with the Baked Stuffed Post. This is because the image on the post now is an actual picture of a Freshly Baked Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread. Just baked the other night. It does look warm and toasty doesn’t it. This picture was taken by James Ronald Lee of http://jronaldlee.com just after he made himself a Fresh Loaf of Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread. My thought is that with a great original freshly baked picture like this one the Brain Activity from the Image definitely increases. This is a good thing :)

You will also notice that you can get 45% of your Daily amount of Passion just by eating 2 slices of this Passionate Wordpress Blog Bread. I know you are asking where all this passion comes from. Well it comes from all the kneading of passion into the idea that was done while making it. All this kneading infused a lot of passion into 2 slices of the bread. Pretty good Right? Sure the Passion comes from Saturated Passion, Monounsaturated Passion, and Polyunsaturated Passion, but in my book any kind of Passion is a good thing. So when making this passionate bread don’t be skimpy on the kneading. Take your time and knead as much passion into it as you can. It is very important to ingrain as much passion into each slice as possible. Trust me your readers will enjoy it.

What to take from this is that with a great idea and passion you can create your own Passionate Wordpress Blog for everyone to enjoy. And remember the more passion you knead into your idea the more passion you will pass on to the readers of your slices. Believe me people can feel and appreciate the passion that you pour into your blog. The more passion you put into it the more passion that comes out of it. And this passion can be felt by the comments that you will receive on your Passionate Wordpress Blog. Oh and don’t forget adding a freshly baked picture to your passionate blog can really make your posts and blog come alive.

Thought of the Day: Clean out your belly button lint everyday!

For those of you that have made New Years Resolutions I just wanted to let you know that my Posts have 0 Calories, 0 Fat, and 0 Carbohydrates. So feel free to eat all you want.

Having said that after writing the 2 Blog Recipes I noticed that I neglected to give you the Nutritional Value of them. So I thought I would give you the ramifications of eating one of those Baked Stuffed Posts. So here we go. Keep an open mind here. This is the first time I am writing a Nutrition Facts Label.

In case you are wondering where I got the % Daily Values here is a little information behind the numbers.

Brain Activity: While they say a picture is worth a 1000 words I think in this case you will get more Brain Activity from the Actual Post than you do from the Image.

Total Information: The Post can give you 10% of your Daily Information needs with 8% of it coming from Saturated Information and the other 2% coming from Trans Information whatever that is.

Ideas: The Post gives you 2% of your Daily Ideas. Sure this is not a large portion, but come on it’s a short post.

Emotions: The Post conjures up 2% of your Daily Emotions. Don’t worry I am sure there are other things in your life that will give you your recommended daily allowance of emotions.

Total Fun: The Post gives you 5% of your daily fun. Like I said in the post mixing in a little fun won’t hurt.

Dietary Fun: This is what I consider “Lite Fun” kinda like “Lite Beer”.

Laughter: The Post is good for about 1% of your Daily Laughs. Make sure though you do get your full dose of daily laughter. Laughter is a very important part of life. Don’t eat it lightly.

Sadness: The Post hopefully did not bring on sadness that is why this is 0%.

Pinch Bold Text
2-3 Post Tags
1 Catagory
Keywords (optional)

Directions

3. Stir in 1-2 Images to the mixture. These images can be related to the words and information in the mixture.

Do you have Visitors Coming for the Holidays?

For the past 4 days my Google Analytics account shows I haven’t had any vistors. No visitors at all. Zippo! None! 0.0%!Though I know some people have come to my Blog taken the time to read some posts and make a Comments. Which I truely appreciate. Thanks Louise, Sire, Kristi, Ned, TheInfoPreneur! I would also like to thank Anyone that has come by and taken the time to read my Blog!

So how does Google Analytics work?

Actually since November 22, I have had a slow decline in Visitor traffic. On November 22, I actually had the most Visitors in one day peaking at 138 visitors for that particular day. And guess which post drove the most traffic? The short post on Mystery Google. Which to me was really a nothing post. I had written the post after taking a look at Google Trends one day and found it to be a hot trend. So I tried Mystery Google out and decided to make a post about it because it was interesting. Funny thing is I have received over 1000 views of this post alone. Way more than any other post that I have written. Quite honestly I dont really know why. What I do know is that I receive a lot of search engine traffic from Google for that particular post. Actually if you go to Google and type “Mystery Google Tricks” my blog is at the top of the Google Search. Pretty cool right? Well its not really something I want to be known for. I would rather be known for Blogging Tips and Tricks not Mystery Google Tricks.

Now what I am trying to figure out is how to create this kind of search engine traffic, keyword driven search engine traffic with some of my other posts. I figure if I can figure that out I should be able to drive my traffic a little higher than it is now. Well it can only go up from here!

Honestly I kinda figured my traffic might drop during the Holiday Season. The Holidays are a special time to spend with our family and friends sharing and creating special memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
